The Hamtunscire Hoard Map is one of the eight Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Artifacts you can find in the southwestern area of England. The Hoard Map comes with a riddle or a text you must decipher as it will lead you to the hidden treasure. Here is where to find the map and the associated treasure.

Where To Find the AC Valhalla Hamtunscire Treasure Hoard Map

First, you must locate the actual Hoard Map in Hamtunscire. This can be done by visiting the location on my map below. The location is east of Wincestre—specifically Fearnhamme Ruins.

When you reach the spot on the map above, look for an old Roman tower. On the ground, you should see the entrance to a tunnel blocked by rocks. The said entrance is pictured below.

Now, you have several options. If you have explosive arrows and enough stamina, use them to destroy the rocks. If not, shoot the chandelier above the tunnel to clear the path. Head inside the tunnel and the treasure map will be waiting for you on a small wooden stool.

Where To Find the Hamtunscire Hoard Treasure

Once you pick up the treasure map, open your inventory to see the following text.

The note comes with some clues:

  • The treasure is in the southwestern corner of Hamtunscire
  • Close to Wishtman’s Wood
  • Next to a red tree

From your current location, head north of Wishtman’s Wood. Here, you can see two small lakes like those on my map below (where Eivor is standing).

The exact location of the treasure can be seen below. You need to look for a unique tree with red leaves and a white trunk. The tree, as you can see, is impossible to miss.

When you get close, you’ll find a small clearing and a patch of mud where the treasure has been buried. It also appears in my screenshot.
