Australians are struggling through a series of cold snaps that have hit the country – but not Nadia Bartel, who has escaped the record-cold temperatures.
The Melbourne-based fashion entrepreneur has escaped to a sunnier part of the world with her new boyfriend Peter Dugmore, sharing a series on bikini-clad photographs from their first day in Spain.
Bartel, 38, posed for photos wearing a nude two-piece cossie from Australian brand Monday Swimwear.
In one image, the mum-of-two – who split from her AFL ex-husband Jimmy Bartel in August 2019 following five years of marriage – posed in her skimpy bikini on the sand, pairing the swimmers with a matching wrap skirt.
Bartel also accessorised her beachwear with a large straw hat and statement gold hoops.
Another photo shows Bartel in the passenger seat of a car, posing with pursed lips as Dugmore drives.
There were also snaps of the crystal blue water at the European destination as well as the couple’s unknown holiday resort.
“Last 24 hrs,” Bartel wrote alongside her happy photos.
The former WAG’s 534,000 followers were quick to flood the post, declaring her ensemble “a vibe”.
“Looks like you just stepped into a movie! Stunning,” one commented.
“So. So. Hot,” another stated.
While another simply said: “Happiness looks good on you.”
The Henne owner was speculated to have started dating the former footballer turned model and personal trainer in January 2022 when they were spotted in Melbourne.
Their budding romance had gone relatively under the radar until they were snapped on holiday in Byron Bay in December the same year, kissing and cuddling.
She has largely kept her romantic life private in the years since her split from Geelong Cats star and Brownlow medallist Jimmy Bartel, though she was previously linked to Nathan Brodie in 2020.
The influencer and the AFL star share two sons, Aston and Henley, and split abruptly in 2019, amid speculation about the nature of a trip he’d taken to London – where it was later revealed his now ex-girlfriend, Lauren Mand, lived.
At the time, Bartel said she was “heartbroken” by their break-up.
Since their separation, she has gone on to forge a successful career as an influencer and fashion-brand owner.
Henne, the label launched by Bartel in 2020, has amassed a cult following and recently showed for the second year in a row at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week.

As a result of the brand’s “incredible” success, Bartel has been able to expand its offering, she told news.com.au in November last year.
“There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and I feel we are still very much on the journey, but it’s so nice to have little bites of success along the way,” she said at the time.
“I love it when people reach out to me via Instagram or down the street and tell me how confident and happy they feel when they wear the pieces.”
