Rapper Mozzy was taken into custody by the police over the weekend after a shooting incident occurred at a party he had attended.
Law enforcement officials informed TMZ that they suspect one of the rapper’s crew members may have been involved. The West Coast rapper was stopped by police in Wichita, Kansas on Saturday night following gunfire at a venue called City Nightz. He had attended an after-party at the venue after performing at a neighboring club.
Mozzy was seen being placed in handcuffs and taken away. It was also reported that the police are working to screen as many people as possible in the area. However, despite the appearance of being taken to jail, insiders disclosed to the publication that Mozzy was only briefly detained.
He has since been released and is not facing any charges related to the shooting. One of his crew members has been arrested, though the specific charges are unclear.
The investigation is still in its early stages. Other members of Mozzy’s entourage were also detained, but no one else was arrested.
