It was called The Walking Dead. He began working on the comic in hopes that it would make a splash, and he could not have predicted just what a splash it would make. His comic book company was not happy with the idea when he first presented it to them. They thought that another zombie book was a pointless disaster, overplayed and overdone in many manners. Of course, that was just not how he felt about his own work, and he persisted. Image finally decided to allow him to go through with it, and they are very happy now that they did.
In 2010, Robert Kirkman added producer to his long list of career moves. He began producing The Walking Dead, and it has since become one of the biggest shows on television. It’s a show that fans talk about every single week, and that those who didn’t think they were into that kind of stuff have had to admit that they really do enjoy. He worked on a science fiction movie in 2015 as his first role in movies, and he is looking to expand upon that in the future. Robert Kirkman and his wife have two children and they life in Kentucky. He even went so far as to name his son Peter Parker after his love of Spiderman and his other personality. He is one of the most famous comic creators in the world at the moment.
